A perfect fall day for a scenic drive; we jumped in Grandpa’s old pickup for a long country ride. As he twiddled his thumbs for what seemed to be hours, we drove for miles while Grandma admired the flowers. Not having anywhere they had to be, and enjoying the beauty in the changing of the leaves. Reminiscing about old times, family and friends.......not for a moment did I think one day it’d all end. But now that you’re gone and the memories remain, those days were so special I should not have complained.
